Striae is an ongoing experimental typography pro- ject that began in 2015 that aims to identify different layers of typographic elements in various fonts. By then combining these layers together, the fonts begin to exhibit an almost three-dimensional quality.
The special trait of Striae is that it can be printed in two layers in different colors (see letter A). Each letter is presented via different printing or reproduction techniques.
A - two-colored silkscreen print
B - intaglio print
C - photographic exposure on b/w paper
